All about Ms. Stephen

Hello! I am so excited for you to be a part of my classroom this year!
My name is Ms. Stephen.

Here are a few things about me:
I am from Nebraska. Yes, there are cornfields in my hometown. No I was not a farmer.
I went to school and graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho.
I love to sing and have music playing, so we will probably do some of that in the classroom.
I am not a good artist, but I love to be creative and make new things.
I LOVE LLAMAS!!!

A bit about my teaching philosophy
I believe that EVERY child can learn.
I believe that EVERY child needs love and attention.
I believe that hard word and grit need to be learned and instilled. It has helped me be successful in my own life and I know that it will help my students be successful as they are in and as they leave my classroom.
I believe that learning needs to be fun, engaging, and relatable to the students in my classroom.
I believe in being an active participant in the learning process. I do not like lectures! I am not that kind of teaching. I want students to get involved with their own learning in every way possible.
